Adhcism (TED project) - Tunnel

The sustainable project Adhcism was made from February to May 2015. The design is for recycle and refuce the need to consume. The simple tunnels with bright colour on grey unfurnished wall make the strong colour contrast really interest me. The inspiration of using material is from the journey to Thailand, they have a mass of waste electric wires on utility poles. So i bought the second hand electric wires as one of my material.I hand knit them with the threads twisted by plastic bags. I took the memory idea from my grandmother which add the new knit to extend the edges of small old swearters. The final out come was use an old sweater and add the new knit onto it.
